Puzzle Mountain Lodge is a wilderness destination that sits in in the seclusion of 135 acres of a privately owned mountain in Newry, Maine. Come and enjoy hunting with registered Maine guides, fishing in our private trout stream, snowmobiling in the Western Mountains, or simply relaxing in the comfort of our finely decorated lodge.

We are a son and father operation dedicated to sharing our knowlege of this unique wilderness area. We offer many recreational opportunities for all outdoorsmen. Our lodge is located on Puzzle Mountain in the Mahoosuc Mountain Range of Western Maine. Our Lodge is located at the end of a two-mile private and gated mountain road with thousands of acres for recreational use. This secluded setting offers an ultimate experience for outdoorsmen looking for personal and attentive service from knowledgeable and experienced guides. You and your party of up to 4 guests will have the exclusive use of the Lodge, giving you the freedom, flexibility and privacy to truly relax and enjoy yourselves.What's unique about our Lodge is our location. There is no driving around wasting your precious time.

Our Tudor style lodge is spacious and cozy, with a charming "Old World" ambience. In addition to our comfortable bedrooms, we have a private lounge for our guests. Evening is time to chat about their days hunt over their favorite beverage.

For fishermen, we offer guided wading and drift boat trips on the Androscoggin, Rapid and Bear Rivers. Our brook is well known for it's native brookies and the fun catching them. We specialize in fishing small streams for native brook trout. On the Rapid River, we seek out brook trout and landlocked salmon. The Androscoggin offers excellent fishing for brookies, browns and rainbow trout. If your interest is in smallmouth bass fishing, we offer excellent opportunities to catch those lunkers. For hunters that are interested in large game hunting, we offer bear hunts over bait for a package rate of $1500.00 per week, per person.We also offer 3 day packages starting at $850.00. For deer hunters we offer self guided packages starting $850.00 per week and a 3 day package starting at $575.00.
